This visionary initiative is a collaborative effort between Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, IBM Research, and The FUND for Lake George. It leverages cutting-edge technology to protect and preserve one of nature's most valuable resources: fresh water. The overarching objective of the project is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the impact of human activity on Lake George and develop strategies to mitigate these effects.

The team was tasked with capturing the essence of the initiative, its innovative solutions, and the breathtaking beauty of Lake George and its surroundings. The core challenge was to convey the magnitude of the project's significance through stunning visuals and informative interviews.

TECHNICAL APPROACH:

To do justice to Lake George's awe-inspiring vistas, DePalma Creative pushed the boundaries of technology. Custom drones, specially designed for the project, were employed to carry a full-sized RED camera over the water. This daring approach enabled the capture of sweeping panoramic shots that showcased Lake George's pristine beauty, a pivotal element in underlining the project's importance. DePalma Creative conducted and filmed interviews with key project stakeholders, allowing them to articulate the critical work being undertaken to safeguard Lake George.
